When accepted into or applying to our Linkshell, we request that you accept the rules and conditions that every other member has agreed to.

ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IF CHANGES ARE MADE AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO READ THEM IF AND WHEN SAID CHANGES ARE MADE. WE WILL ANNOUNCE IF THIS OCCURS AT THE START OF THE NEXT EVENT AFTER THE CHANGES TAKE PLACE, AND THEY WILL TAKE EFFECT AFTER SAID EVENT.

Rules that apply to all events:

* Members who first join will be placed on a 2 week probation period, during this time we will allow you to receive gear from the events but only if it is Freelot or AF3 Related. You cannot spend points while on trial.
-added April 13th, 2011

* Members may only achieve 5 armor/weapon/accessories per month. This applies to items that are not AF3 related, so make sure and bid accordingly. This rule is to keep people from loot whoring, i.e. saving up 250 points and buying everything for several runs.
-added April 13th, 2011

* Skipping an event because you do not wish to attend, for any reason, will result in losing double points that the event would have awarded. This will be checked by searching all zones for those that are absent from the event at time of attendance and at random times during the runs. Therefore if you are logged on and in another zone at the time of event, excluding afk in cities because we all do that, you will be penalized points. It is understood that real life does happen and that is understandable, so please post under the feed on the website’s main page if you have prior knowledge of missing an event. You may also tell Ginjuice or a sackholder if you know that you will be absent or late and suffer no penalty.
- added April 13th, 2011

* Members are allowed to slip into negative points, but if you wish to spend more points that would pull you under -10 you will be told you cannot lot. If you happen to fall exactly on -10 you will not be able to lot on another item until you have worked your way out of the red and to +10 points. While in the negative you CANNOT lot over members who are in the positive unless told by a leader for some reason.
-added April 13th, 2011

* We would like our members to average a high attendance rate to our events. If your attendance falls under 50% you will be restricted to what you are able to lot, for example:

If your attendance slips to 40% and you want to lot on a Loki’s, but someone who is after the same item has an attendance of 80%+, you will be unable to lot against them regardless of points. The reasoning behind this is simple; we don’t want items of significance to go to members that do not attend events when it can go to someone that will use it to help us on a regular basis.
-added April 13th, 2011

* When we ask you to come as a certain job, we expect you to play as that job, regardless of liking. We need certain roles filled for everything to move quickly and smoothly especially on days with low attendance. If you do not show proper action you will be penalized 2 points for the first offense.
If you continue to attend as a different job than asked to after the first penalty, you will have 5 points deducted for the second and third offense. Any infractions after that will void you from lotting any items for those runs.
-added April 13th, 2011

* Leaving an event without a proper excuse, AFKing for an extended period of time without saying so, or AFKing for an unreasonable length of time will result in penalty on points obtained from an event. There is no need for members to AFK for 30-50min if they attend our events. You’re not only wasting your time, but you end up wasting our time; especially if you are playing a specific role that we need.
-added April 13th, 2011

* For events that last for an extended period of time, that may overlap other events, or extend into very late hours of the night, all members at the end of the event will receive bonus points as well as points for the events that we had overlapped/skipped.
-added April 13th, 2011

* We do use very derogatory language in our shell, and we joke around a lot at times, but we never say something as a direct attack or insult to hurt someone’s feelings…usually. If there are several complaints or offenses to this rule you will not be allowed to attend any events for a week, after which you may return. If this behavior continues then you will be asked to leave the Linkshell or forcibly removed.
-added April 13th, 2011

Dynamis:

* Rules to come at a later time.

Abyssea:

* All members attending Abyssea runs are required to place their desired +1 and +2 items in their search comment. Comment will be posted under EXP Party >>> Other. Both comments can be +1, one of each, or both +2 items. Example of a proper comment:

Iga Hands: (5/8)
Wieldance Card: (0/6)

Do not use any variations of your choosing when it comes to the format of your comment. It is not enough to have all the info; it must be properly formatted so we can read it quickly as we scroll down the list and make note of desired items. If you incorrectly post your comment you will be given one warning to change it otherwise you disqualify yourself for your items.
-added April 13th, 2011

**It has been made known that for those of you using a chat pad that special characters are hard to enter. With this being said, it is acceptable to also post your comments as follows:

Iga Hands 5/8
Weildance Card 0/6

These are the only two valid ways to post your comments. Please keep this in mind when you enter them before each event.
-added April 15th, 2011

* If you change +1 and +2 items during an Abyssea run before obtaining all of said +1 or +2 of that item, and before notifying in Linkshell that you have finished with the items, there will be a penalty of one point. If you are caught repeating this action, you will be prohibited from lotting any +1 and +2 items the entire run.

If a person finishes a +1 item they may change their search comment to another +1 of the same type/job (hands/legs etc). If this change is made, the member must notify Ginjuice or a sackholder immediately. However, this does NOT apply to +2 items! Once a +2 item is finished you may not change your search comment for +2 items.

Breaking this rule is not worth the consequences. We understand some members want +2 items badly, but we expect highly of our members to follow these rules.
-added April 13th, 2011

* Priority on lotting +2 items will be given to a person who has the completed +1 armor/upgrade-set over a person who does not, even if that person is at 50% of +2 upgrade-set. If neither person has the +1 armor/set, priority is given to the member with 50% of +2 set before it is sent to Freelot. If neither member has +1 armor/set or 50% of +2 set, items are sent to Freelot for those that have comment posted.

50% of a +2 set is described as 5+/9 for body or 3+/6 for all other armor. Again, this information should be set in your comment for easy reference.
-added April 13th, 2011
* Taking an item via points with intent to sell, or to sell if the value of the item rises, will be charged double points and you will be placed on a cool down period before you can obtain another of the same item. Cool down period will be set at one month as a punishment for violating this rule.
-added April 13th, 2011

*In regards to using pop sets obtained on a member’s own time; before said pop, the member will establish what items they want if they drop. You can only choose one item, but if several drop (i.e. Stone or Card), then that member obtains all of that item. This also applies to weapon upgrade items or armor/weapons/accessories. Personal pops are limited to one per run. Use this as a tool to obtain items without waiting for priority or spending points because it not only speeds up the farming process on runs but distributes KIs to more members than just our event leaders.
-added April 13th, 2011

*If you have any additional ideas or comments on the rules, feel free to email Ginjuice through Guildwork or at dallas.arnold.52@gmail.com. All suggestions will be taken into consideration and if it is a viable change then it shall be brought to the Linkshell and voted upon.
