Hi,

I am using VB 5.2.6
Host is Windows 10 Home version 1709
Host network gateway 192.168.1.1 and guest applications can connect to internet and other network devices
Windows Defender is only firewall/av installed
VM Guest is Windows XP SP3
VB Network manager shows 192.168.56.1/24 as address/mask (automatic)
VM network settings is left at default (NAT with Intel PRO/1000 T server)
I cannot connect to internet on VM
IE network diagnostics fails ("modem/router" problem) and states:
"The default gateway is in a different subnet than this computer"
Default gateway is 192.168.1.1
"Computer" (VM) IP address is 10.0.2.15 (I confirmed this with IPConfig)
Per FAQs, I tried …//66.102.9.99/ in IE, which is Google according to your FAQ, but it could not connect to that either.
I also have tried both wired and wireless network connections on the host - both work on host applications, but neither on guest.
Additionally I have a network printer configured to 192.168.1.200, which the host has no problems with. When I type this printer IP address on the host I get the printer setup page. When I type the printer IP address on the guest it is not found.
How do I get the VM to connect to the internet and how do I get the VM to see the printer IP address?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
